The publishing timeline is a bizzarre thing, not unlike the world of fashion design. Designers find themselves working on collections for often 2 or 3 seasons ahead creating an odd surreal world where they are working with heavy winter fabrics in the heat of summer.
Likewise, despite knowing my book will not be available to the general public until Summer 2009, I find myself some six weeks prior to Christmas 2008 (when I still have not bought a single present, mind I do have some crackers and wrapping paper!) working on a sequel for release Christmas 2009.
Whilst it does not have quite the same bizzare feel as I imagine the fashion designers world to have, for I am in all reality just making a logical progression, from 1 to 2 it does seem a little like loosing an entire year, that by the time I see the finished article in print I will have forgotten the words inside!
