So I have spent the past 4.5 hours working on my Editors scores in order to get the first completed edit back before the weekend and my computer has gone and refused to save my work - GREAT!

I hate stuff like this, my sequel book to Sexual Favours is due for publication on June 1st, I am off on holiday tomorrow hence am short of time and now a hitch - TYPICAL.

I have raging toothache and about to put said computer through window!

Launch Day

Well apart from the many texts from well wishers launch day-the day long awaited with excitement and anticipation was in all reality an anticlimax. Silly really I don't know what I expected-51 gun salute, balloons released in Hyde Park a Champagne party. Whatever is was-it never happened, I went to Tesco and did the washing like any other day. So much for the glamorous life of a published author!

But in true Kate style I'm already planning my latest new venture - the new face of Loose Women, I love the show and whenever possible watch it avidly. They are all sassy, strong minded women full of fun and vitality- hey the show was written for me.

...The mischievous and provocative strut of the small yet well-proportioned frame diverted the eyes of males from whatever they were doing and swelled tiny green monsters of envy in those of women. Her pert bum, slender figure and fresh young breasts were constantly drawing attention. During adolescence, Becky had discovered the power of her body and learnt the art of dressing it.
She knew how good she looked approaching the counter. Aware of the tiny clicking noise her heels created on the painted concrete floor that followed her, each click causing her heart's flutter at the deviousness of plan, the potential new addition to her collection. The deliberate swing of her hips as she walked, making the pleated fabric of her short red skirt perched tightly on her waist sway with the movement of them, whilst the fitted cotton vest remained stationery clinging to the flesh of her frame.

The 21st December, as I sit at my desk punching keys creatin the words of book 2 I look out of window, down the garden, it is hard to believe it will be Christmas in just four days time. While the sky is grey and trees bare, the grass is as vivid green as a Summers day. The Easter Island statues not covered in frost or snow, the garden furniture still positioned from the last warm evenings glass of wine. I think of winters past when Christmas was spent in the highlands of Scotland all clad in snow or the Lapland visit when the powder reached our knees. The laughter will no doubt be the same, the wine will flow and the food in mple supply, yet without the snow is it really Christmas?
